Parents! We need your help! Our new floor has arrived (we brought it in after the truck guy left for us in the middle of the street!) and we are ready to get the design laid out and started. This year is easy and involves only a little paint - but a whole lot of tape. We need a crew who can come in and lay down the lines. Easy job - measure, run a chalk line and then lay down the tape in strait lines. The pattern forms basic boxes. It will then get a big diagonal which we will cut from other floor pieces and paint and attach. Should be great!
Once we get the floor laid out we will need 1 backdrop designed/constructed. It always provides some challenges, but I have some great ideas and options - would love additional input to make life easier as well!
If there is someone willing to head up the project - it would be great to meet ahead of next Monday. Hoping to have a gym floor on the next two Monday evenings from 5-8 to get it going. Backdrop construction could happen the day of our Sunday rehearsal in October.
