We need your help!

Parents! We need your help! Our new floor has arrived (we brought it in after the truck guy left for us in the middle of the street!) and we are ready to get the design laid out and started. This year is easy and involves only a little paint - but a whole lot of tape. We need a crew who can come in and lay down the lines. Easy job - measure, run a chalk line and then lay down the tape in strait lines. The pattern forms basic boxes. It will then get a big diagonal which we will cut from other floor pieces and paint and attach. Should be great!

Once we get the floor laid out we will need 1 backdrop designed/constructed. It always provides some challenges, but I have some great ideas and options - would love additional input to make life easier as well!

If there is someone willing to head up the project - it would be great to meet ahead of next Monday. Hoping to have a gym floor on the next two Monday evenings from 5-8 to get it going. Backdrop construction could happen the day of our Sunday rehearsal in October.

Music On The March 2

Here we are - ready for another go at the drum corps show! Kids need to be at Senior at 2pm to get things set up. Parents - if you have the night free - come on over we can use some extra hands. Much easier show to run than the first one. The crowd will not be nearly as big.

Google Calendar

Try again- they have taken out the public calendar option. Hmmm, I liked that part! If you go to the Senior Color Guard Calendar page you will find the url's that you need to add each of the calendars to your google account.

Set up a google calendar to see what is happening at Senior, in the district and with your activity!

Log on to www.google.com
Select gmail
Select Create an Account and follow the steps

If... you already have a gmail account - start here!
Select "Calendar"
Click on "Add" to pull in the appropriate school calendars
From the drop down box, select, "Add a Public Calendar"
Type the letters DCSD into "Search Public Calendars" Enter
Scroll and click on the calendars that you would like to add
To view your calendar, click on back to calendar
To view the calendars, in "My Calendars" click and highlight the ones you would like to view

It's Audition Time!

We have 25 girls auditioning for the 2009-2010 team! It was an exciting evening to have an enthusiastic group of freshmen join us for rehearsal. Lots of traditions and lots of changes to come! Keep checking in so that you know it first!

Spring Has Sprung

The show is over, the clean up is done. Now we kick back and have more fun!

Our new shelves are ready to be installed in the cage downstairs - yeah finally a higher level of organization. We will be working hard at getting things organized!
